To participate in the AAdvantage eShoppingSM 2008 Holiday promotion, you must be an AAdvantage® member. If you’re not already an AAdvantage® member, you can sign up for a free membership online at www.aa.com/enroll.
AAdvantage members must complete transactions with the AAdvantage eShoppingSM US mall between November 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 to be eligible for the double miles bonus.
AAdvantage members who, between November 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008, spend at least $500, excluding tax and shipping charges, at the 21 participating merchants through the AAdvantage eShopping US mall, using a valid MasterCard® card, will be awarded a bonus $25 MasterCard(R) gift card. Limit 1 gift card per household.
The double mile bonus will be awarded for each qualifying transaction with Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble.com, Bose, Cabela's, Circuit City, Dell Home, drugstore.com, eToys, Gap.com, landsend.com, Macys.com, Overstock.com, Pottery Barn, RedEnvelope, Saks.com, Sears, Staples.com, The Home Depot, TigerDirect, Victoria's Secret and Williams-Sonoma only at the AAdvantage eShoppingSM US mall.
The double miles bonus earned will be posted to your AAdvantage® account 12 weeks after the promotion ends (or March 25, 2009). Bonus miles do not count toward elite-status qualification. If you qualify for the MasterCard gift card spending threshold bonus, your gift card will be mailed 12 to 16 weeks after the promotion ends, to the address on your AAdvantage account. Gift cards will not be mailed to P.O. Box addresses.
If you qualify for double miles bonuses, your miles will post as separate transactions. First, for each transaction, base miles for shopping at the AAdvantage eShoppingSM US mall will be posted as one award. Second, for each transaction, an award for double miles will be posted with a transaction date equal to the last qualifying base transaction.
